395-metre suspension bridge in Okhaldhunga draws tourists

The 395-metre suspension bridge built in Okhaldhunga district headquarters is beginning to become a centre of attraction for both domestic and foreign tourists.
The bridge connects Hulakdanda and Srashta Park in the district headquarters. It was built with federal government budget funds on the initiative of Siddhicharan Municipality, and the structure was constructed by the Suspension Bridge Division Office.
Along with promoting tourism, the bridge has also made local movement easier. It has become a major attraction for tourists arriving not only from within the area but also from neighbouring districts.
Since the bridge was built, it has become easier to visit Srashta Park and other nearby tourism sites. The municipality aims to develop the area as a tourism hub and attract both domestic and foreign tourists.
