Betrawati bailey bridge to open tomorrow, Syafrubesi bridge construction also gains pace

The bailey bridge under construction in Betrawati, Nuwakot, will come into operation starting tomorrow. Construction work has reached its final stage.

The bailey bridge is being built as part of efforts to restore the transport network affected by floods. The construction is being carried out by the Bridge/Bailey Bridge Construction and Restoration Task Force formed by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

According to the task force, construction of the Betrawati bailey bridge is on track to be completed on time. Once the bridge becomes operational, vehicle movement in the flood-affected area is expected to resume.

Meanwhile, bridge construction in Syafrubesi has also gained pace. Work is underway to restore bridges and road structures damaged by the floods and to resume the transport network.
