Talk of rift with General Secretary Pokharel baseless: UML Chair Oli

CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has denied public speculation about a rift in his relationship with party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel.

Chair Oli dismissed talk of a rift in his relations with General Secretary Pokharel, calling it entirely baseless.

"It cannot be said there is a problem in the relationship just on the basis that he did not pick up the phone," he said. Chair Oli also made clear that he has no rift with the general secretary.

Oli made these remarks public at a time when the relationship between him and General Secretary Pokharel has been a subject of public discussion.
