Babarmahal overhead bridge in final stage, set to open from Asoj 28

Construction of the overhead bridge (pedestrian bridge) under construction in Kathmandu's busy Babarmahal area has reached its final stage.
The overhead bridge has been built with the aim of making pedestrian movement safe and convenient. According to the Road Division, Kathmandu, the target is to inaugurate the bridge on Asoj 28.
The bridge is set to come into operation from that very day. As the Babarmahal area sees heavy traffic pressure, the bridge was built to make it easier for pedestrians to cross the road.
Once the bridge becomes operational, pedestrians in the area will be able to cross the road safely.
