European football: Barcelona, Real Madrid play in La Liga, Premier League's sixth round begins, Ronaldo's 980th goal

Barcelona and Real Madrid are taking the field today, Saturday, in the eighth round of Spain's La Liga, while England's Premier League begins its sixth round.

Barcelona will play Getafe at 10:15 pm Nepali time. Elsewhere in La Liga today, Rayo Vallecano face Athletic Bilbao at 5:45 pm, and Deportivo Alaves meet Atletico Madrid at 8 pm. Friday night's match between Malaga and Espanyol ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Premier League, returning after a three-week international break, has six matches today. Arsenal will play Leeds United at 5:15 pm, and Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur at 10:15 pm. In the previous round, Arsenal lost 0-3 to Brighton, while Leeds remain unbeaten this season.

Meanwhile, in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored the 980th goal of his career. He scored the first goal around the 25th minute in Friday's match, in which Al Nassr defeated Al Diriyah 3-0. With this win, Al Nassr have moved level on points with league leaders Al Qadsiah, but sit second on goal difference.
