Government declares five flood/landslide-hit local units in Parbat disaster-crisis zones for three months

The government has declared five local units in flood- and landslide-affected Parbat district as disaster-crisis zones.

According to a notice published in the Nepal Gazette on Thursday, the declaration has been made for three months. Jaljala Rural Municipality is among the local units included in the crisis zone.

These local units were affected by floods and landslides triggered by recent rainfall. The government designated these units as disaster-crisis zones taking into account the impact of the flooding and landslides.

The declaration took effect with the publication of the notice in the Gazette. The duration of the declaration has been set at three months.
