Senior account officer at Lumbini Province agriculture ministry dies after bus hits motorcycle in Dang

One person has died after a passenger bus hit a motorcycle in Lamahi, Dang. The District Police Office, Dang, said a bus hit a motorcycle at Sundarbari in Lamahi Municipality-1, killing 50-year-old Chet Bahadur KC, a resident of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, Chaudhera.

KC was riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident. He was working as a senior account officer at the Lumbini Province Ministry of Agriculture.

Immediately after the incident, a police team deployed from the Ward Police Office, Lamahi, led by Police Inspector Ramesh Timalsina, rescued the injured KC and took him to Lamahi Hospital for treatment. However, police said he died.
