UML, JSP discuss new Madhesh government as Yadav meets Oli in Gundu

The CPN-UML and Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal held talks on Saturday on forming a new government in Madhesh province.
JSP Nepal chairman Upendra Yadav went to UML chairman KP Sharma Oli's residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur, for the meeting. Other leaders from both parties were also present in the talks. Chairman Yadav had earlier met Nepali Congress president Gagan Thapa as well.
The Congress-led provincial government under Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav has been left in a minority after UML withdrew its support on Friday. UML pulled out of the government alleging that the 15-point agreement reached at the time of the government's formation had not been implemented. Four UML ministers in the government have resigned.
JSP Nepal is the largest party in the Madhesh Provincial Assembly. After withdrawing its support, UML has intensified dialogue with top leaders, staking its claim to form the provincial government.
