GB Rai claims responsibility for cooperative funds, urges that Rabi and Chhabilal not be linked

GB Rai, who has long been on the run in a cooperative savings embezzlement case, has issued a fresh statement from an undisclosed location. In the statement, he said he takes responsibility for the funds that came to Gorkha Media Network from the cooperative.

Rai has urged that Rabi and Chhabilal not be linked to this matter. He stated that Galaxy TV belongs to him and that the responsibility for the cooperative funds is also his own.

Saying that, as chairman of Gorkha Media Network, the responsibility for managing financial resources was his, he claimed that no other board member was involved in this.

In the statement, Rai also remarked that arresting him would not result in the depositors' money being returned. He remains on the run in the cooperative fraud case.
