Congress 15th convention: Gagan Thapa receives the most votes, full results for 231 released

The Nepali Congress has released the full results of office-bearers and Central Committee members elected at its 15th General Convention. According to the results, a total of 231 people were elected as office-bearers and Central Committee members at the convention.

Gagan Kumar Thapa, elected president, received the most votes at the convention. He defeated his rival for president, Shyam Krishna Khadka. Thapa tops the list of candidates who received the most votes.

With the full results released, details of how many votes each candidate received at the convention have also come out. Media outlets have published details of the candidates who placed in the top 10.

Newly elected president Thapa is scheduled to take the oath of office and assume his post today, on the day of Phulpati.
