In the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match being played in Oman on Saturday, Canada has set Nepal a target of 257 runs to win.

Canada, who won the toss and chose to bat first, were bowled out for 256 runs in 50 overs at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground. Opener Yuvraj Samra played a century, scoring 105 runs off 117 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes.

Aaron Johnson added 36, Harsh Thaker 34 and Hamza Tariq 30. Canada had reached 219 for three wickets before losing wickets at regular intervals afterward.

For Nepal, Lalit Rajbanshi took 4 wickets for 39 runs in 10 overs. Sandeep Lamichhane took 3, Dipendra Singh Airee 2, and Rohit Paudel 1 wicket.

Nepal included Gulshan Jha in place of Sandeep Jora in the final eleven for this match. In this series, Nepal has already defeated both Canada and Oman previously.

In the points table, Nepal is sixth with 28 points from 34 matches, while Canada is seventh with 27 points from 35 matches. This match is considered decisive for Nepal to retain its One Day International status. If Nepal wins, sixth place will be secured; if Nepal loses, Canada will move up to sixth, and Nepal will then have to defeat Oman in its final match.
