Nepal Football League to begin from Falgun, seven teams to play home and away

The Nepal Football League (NFL), aimed at making Nepali football commercial, will be held from the coming month of Falgun. Seven different teams will take part in the competition, with matches organized on a home-and-away basis.

Clubs from Nepal's franchise league, the Nepal Super League (NSL), have come together to organize and play in the NFL.

Earlier, on September 5, it had been announced that the NSL would be organized, with Season 4 of the NSL announced in the presence of the Minister for Education and Sports himself. However, the organizers and the clubs could not reach an agreement.

Following that disagreement, the clubs decided to run a separate Nepal Football League.
