Shoaib Akhtar to visit Nepal for NPL broadcast

Former Pakistani cricketer and renowned fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar will visit Nepal for the broadcast of the Nepal Premier League, NPL.
Himalaya Sports, which holds the broadcast rights for NPL, has signed him as a special guest for the pre- and post-match show 'Red Bull Cricket Live.' The third edition of NPL will be held in Kathmandu from Kartik 9 to Mangsir 5.
Known by the nickname 'Rawalpindi Express,' Akhtar is popular worldwide for his extraordinary pace and aggressive bowling style. At the 2003 ICC World Cup, he bowled a delivery against England at a speed of about 161 kilometers per hour. That remains the fastest delivery ever recorded in cricket history.
Akhtar represented Pakistan from 1997 to 2011 and took more than 400 international wickets across Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
