Low-pressure area weakening, weather to improve significantly from Monday

The continuous rainfall that has been occurring in various parts of the country for the past few days has been gradually weakening. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the heavy rainfall, particularly in the central region, will decrease from tonight, and the weather will improve significantly from tomorrow, Monday.

As the low-pressure area is weakening, there is no likelihood of heavy rainfall tonight, and the weather will improve considerably, meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari said.

The system that caused heavy rainfall last night in the central region, including Chitwan and Tanahun, has shifted eastward again. In Bagmati Province, including Kathmandu, the weather is expected to improve after the afternoon.

Although there may be rain in some places tonight, there is no immediate likelihood of heavy rainfall from tomorrow, it has been stated. However, people have been urged to keep following weather updates.
