Armed Police AIG Banshi Raj Dahal dismissed from service

The Home Ministry has dismissed Armed Police Force Additional Inspector General Banshi Raj Dahal from service. Under departmental action, he has been removed effective today, Asoj 23.

Home Ministry Joint Secretary and spokesperson Anand Kafle gave this information in a press release issued on Friday.

Dahal was found to have repeatedly violated conduct regulations and engaged in undisciplined behavior. The decision also cited that he had damaged the reputation of the government and the organization in which he served.

The action follows a report submitted by an investigation committee. He had already been suspended prior to the dismissal.

The Home Minister's Secretariat has also made public a four-point clarification regarding the dismissal.
