Women entrepreneurs' 'Chamber Bazaar' to open in Jamal from Asoj 17

The Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs' Association of Nepal will run a 'Chamber Bazaar' from Saturday, Asoj 17, to help products made by women entrepreneurs and businesswomen reach the market, promote them, and boost their trade.

The bazaar, to be held at the Chamber of Commerce building in Jamal, Kathmandu, will sell food grains, clothing, and handicraft items. Stalls including those of Salt Trading will be present, and goods linked to imports and exports will also be promoted.

Chamber president Urmila Shrestha said orientation on government procedures and running a business, skills and vocational training, awareness on women's health, and free health check-ups would also be provided for women already running businesses and those wanting to start new ventures.

During the festival season the market will run every Saturday and Sunday. After the festivals, she said, it will run only on Saturdays.
