G7 nations to release 100 million barrels of oil from reserves

The G7 nations have agreed to release 100 million barrels of oil from their strategic reserves onto the market. This will include both crude oil and diesel.
The decision came after US President Donald Trump issued a warning.
The group, which includes the United States and other major economies of the world, said it would ensure that diesel supplies remain adequate in the coming days.
However, how much each country will release has not yet been decided. The share of diesel and crude oil in the total volume has also not yet been made clear.
The G7 members are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Canada.
