India's anti-dumping duty on Nepali jute: MP Dangi calls for diplomatic initiative

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Nisha Dangi has drawn the government's attention, saying Nepal's jute industry is on the verge of collapse due to India's unfair tax policy on Nepali jute products.

She has demanded that the government hold diplomatic-level talks with India over its move to quadruple the anti-dumping duty on Nepali jute goods.

MP Dangi said the government should take the initiative to protect Nepal's jute industry.
