NIC Asia Bank provides learning materials to six community schools in five districts

NIC Asia Bank has provided educational materials and equipment to six community schools in five districts under its corporate social responsibility programme.

Schools in Lalitpur, Kalikot, Doti, Achham and Gorkha received water purification plants, uniforms, bags, printers, laptops, desktop computers and projectors. The beneficiary schools include Damaitar Basic School in Godawari Municipality-1, Lalitpur, and Nandadevi Secondary School in Naraharinath Rural Municipality-6, Kalikot.

Radhakrishna Secondary School in Shikhar Municipality-5, Doti, and Bindhyabasini Secondary School in Gorkha Municipality-3 also received support. Nanda Secondary School and Rastrabhasha Secondary School in Bannigadhi Jayagadh, Achham, are also on the list.

On Asoj 21, a water purification plant and uniforms were handed over to Damaitar Basic School, which the bank said has more than 99 students enrolled. A team led by the bank's Kathmandu South Circle Head Ujjwal Rimal handed over the materials to headteacher Amritnath Gautam. Chapagaun branch chief Tulasi Dhungana and CSR in-charge Thakur Shrestha also took part in the handover.
