Yasha Sagar to host third edition of NPL

Canadian model and actress Yasha Sagar will serve as host for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Organizers announced her as host on social media on Tuesday with the message 'Nepal, get ready.' Also known as a fitness influencer, Sagar has appeared in more than 30 music videos in languages including Punjabi, Hindi and Telugu.

Born in Punjab, India, she completed her bachelor's degree there before moving to Canada in December 2015 for further studies. Her acting journey began during her studies when a former classmate offered her a lead role in a music video.

She launched her professional career in the Punjabi music industry in 2017. Sagar said she is very excited about the support of Nepali fans and the experience of visiting Nepal.

She said she has heard a lot about the enthusiasm of Nepali fans for cricket. With the addition of the new host, the tournament's presentation and entertainment aspects are expected to see added appeal.
