Bay of Bengal cyclone effect: rain and snow likely nationwide for four days from Wednesday

A cyclone forming in the Bay of Bengal is set to affect Nepal. According to Gorkhapatra, the powerful low-pressure area over the region is intensifying further.
Meteorologists say rain could occur in various parts of the country for four days from Wednesday, Kartik 11, through Kartik 15, while the Himalayan region could see snowfall. Meteorologists have said rain is likely across the country from Wednesday or Thursday.
Keeping this in mind, meteorologists have advised farmers to harvest their crops and have suggested avoiding long-distance travel from Wednesday.
Regarding today's weather, the Meteorological Forecasting Division says the country currently has a partial effect of westerly winds. As a result, the Himalayan and hill regions have partly cloudy skies, while most parts of the Tarai are largely clear. Light rain or snow is possible at one or two places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces today. The division has said fog could form in some parts of the Tarai in the morning.
