Pokhara holds Dashain tourism and cultural festival today under 'meet tourists this Dashain' slogan

On Kojagrat Purnima, the last day of Bada Dashain, a 'Dashain Tourism and Cultural Festival' is being held in Pokhara today, Sunday. The festival is taking place in Pokhara's Lakeside area.

The festival's slogan is 'Tika, jamara and kite-flying, meet Dashain with tourists in Pokhara.' The event has been organized by women tourism entrepreneurs in Pokhara to link Dashain with tourism.

Foreign tourists will be given tika and jamara at the event. This is the first time such a program is being held in Pokhara's tourism sector.

The organizers aim to share the experience of Dashain with tourists. Pokhara, known for its lake and mountain views, will now also let tourists experience Dashain culture up close.
