Himalaya Airlines resumes direct Kathmandu-Shanghai flights, twice weekly

Himalaya Airlines has resumed direct regular flights between Kathmandu and Shanghai, China.

According to the company, service between Tribhuvan International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport resumed on Monday, Asoj 12.

The first flight departed Kathmandu at 7:11 pm on Monday and landed in Shanghai at 2:36 am Tuesday, China time.

The return flight departed Shanghai at 4:36 am Tuesday and landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 8:13 am, Nepal time.

The company said the route will initially operate twice a week — from Kathmandu to Shanghai every Monday and Friday, and from Shanghai to Kathmandu every Tuesday and Saturday.

With this service, Himalaya Airlines has become the only airline operating regular direct flights on the Kathmandu-Shanghai-Kathmandu route.
