ICC satisfied with preparations for U-19 Women's World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has expressed satisfaction with the preparations Nepal is making for the 2027 U-19 Women's World Cup.

Nepal is a co-host country for the tournament. A team led by ICC General Manager of Events and Operations Gaurav Saxena has arrived in Nepal to review the preparations.

The team inspected the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground and the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground.

According to Saxena, Nepalis' passion for cricket is second to none anywhere in the world, which is why the ICC is excited to host the World Cup here.

He said the tournament would further strengthen the ICC's cricket relationship with Nepal. Such site visits, he said, play an important role in the ICC's planning and management of tournaments.

The ICC will work together with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to make the tournament a success.
