International technology conference begins in Lalitpur with researchers from eight countries

The third International Conference on Innovation in Computing, Science, Engineering and Technology–2026 began in Lalitpur on Asoj 17, with researchers from eight countries taking part.

The Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) organised the conference at Royal Tulip in Gwarko. Besides Nepal, researchers from India, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Australia and Malaysia are participating.

According to the organisers, 97 research papers were received for the conference, of which 46 have been selected. The selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

The conference was inaugurated jointly by Prof. Dr Janardan Lamichhane, vice-chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr Premnarayan Aryal, former vice-chancellor of Pokhara University; and Prof. Dr Vijay Kumar Singh of Sarla Birla University, India.

The conference will feature academic discussions on recent research, achievements and future prospects across various fields of technology and science. Its aims are to share knowledge and experience between researchers and educators and to strengthen international academic cooperation.
