Anmol, Princy starrer 'Baatulo Jun' teaser released

The teaser of the film "Baatulo Jun," starring actors Anmol KC and Princy Khatiwada, was released on Friday.

Directed by Bhuwan KC, the film is set to release on Kartik 26, the day after Bhai Tika.

The roughly two-minute teaser offers a glimpse of a rural setting from the 1930s (Nepali calendar), the lifestyle of that era, and the way people fell in love then. According to the teaser, Anmol plays the young version of his father, Bhuwan KC, in a love story between a teacher and his own student. The teaser hints at a tragic love story.

Anmol explained the mustache seen in the film on social media as a small tribute to his father.

This is Anmol's new film following last year's hit "Jerry on Top." Princy Khatiwada is making her first appearance on the big screen with this film, while actress Garima Panta, who has been living in Belgium, is making a comeback.

Alongside Bhuwan KC, the cast includes Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire and Laxminath Timilsina, among others.

Produced under the Sunrise Pictures banner, the film's producers are Jiya KC and Bhabishya Khadka, with Bibek Thapa as co-producer. The screenplay has been written by Samipyaraj Timalsena and Sarin Pokharel. Cinematography is by Rajesh Shrestha and editing by Krishna Bhandari.
