Gold price up Rs 700 per tola, silver also gets costlier
The price of gold and silver rose in the Nepali market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 700 per tola compared to the previous day. The federation said hallmark gold was trading at Rs 299,300 per tola on Sunday.
The price of silver also rose along with gold.
