Mugling-Narayangadh road reopens after landslide cleared, only Pokhara-bound traffic allowed

The Mugling-Narayangadh road section, which had been blocked since Sunday morning due to incessant rain, has resumed one-way operation. The road was blocked after a landslide, including mud, fell on the bridge over the Namsi Khola.

After the landslide was cleared, the Bharatpur Road Division said vehicles heading toward Pokhara were allowed to pass from 12:10 pm Sunday, with traffic still restricted to that direction only.

Along with the Narayangadh-Mugling road in Chitwan, the Nagdhunga-Naubise-Malekhu section of the Prithvi Highway, which passes through Dhading, also saw landslides at several points, leaving vehicles on these roads unable to move since Sunday morning.
