Army rescues 684 people from flood- and landslide-hit areas today

Following continuous rainfall that triggered floods, landslides and inundation in various parts of the country, the Nepali Army safely rescued 684 people today.

The army is carrying out search, rescue and relief distribution work in the affected areas. It has also been mobilized to move at-risk residents to safe locations and to clear blocked roads.

All the rescued citizens have been moved to safe locations. The army intensified its rescue operations after floods, landslides and inundation occurred in various parts of the country due to continuous rainfall.
