Asian Games: Nepal eliminated from all archery events

Nepal has been eliminated from all archery events at the 20th Asian Games. Nepal's campaign in the sport ended after Tilak Pun Magar lost in the men's recurve individual event and Gyanu Awal lost in the women's recurve individual event.

In the men's individual event, held at the multipurpose hall of Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park in Japan, Tilak lost 6-2 to Ahmad Al-Sada of Qatar, managing to win only one set in the match. In the women's individual event, Gyanu lost 7-1 to Reem Al-Sayed, also of Qatar, having tied the second set to add a point.

Earlier, the Nepali pair of Tilak and Gyanu had also been eliminated from the recurve mixed team event, losing 6-2 to the United Arab Emirates pair of Aisha Al Ali and Khalifa Al Kaabi.
