TU recovers Rs165 million from teachers, staff who did not return to work after study leave

Tribhuvan University has recovered about Rs165 million from teachers and staff who did not return to service, as required by university rules, after taking study leave.

According to the Employee Administration Division under the TU Registrar's Office, the amount has been recovered so far from 75 such cases.

About Rs215 million more remains to be collected from such teachers and staff.

Under university rules, teachers and staff who take study leave must return to service once the leave ends. The university has recovered this amount from those who failed to return.
