70 metres of road caves in at Simaltal on Mugling-Narayangadh road, traffic one-way
About 70 metres of road has caved in at Simaltal on the Mugling-Narayangadh road section in Chitwan. Following the cave-in, vehicle movement at the site has been restricted to one-way traffic.
The affected location has been identified as CH 24+100 at Simaltal. The side portion of the road gave way, and the resulting damage has disrupted vehicle movement in the area.
The Road Division Office, Bharatpur has urged travelers and drivers using this road section to exercise caution. The office has also requested everyone to follow lane discipline.
The Mugling-Narayangadh road section falls under the highway that connects Kathmandu with Chitwan. The office has urged all road users to remain alert while traveling on the route.
