231 houses in Gulmi at high risk due to floods and landslides

Floods and landslides triggered by continuous rainfall have put 231 houses in various local levels of Gulmi district at high risk.

The District Police Office, Gulmi released these details. According to police, some of the affected families have taken shelter with relatives.

Continuous rainfall over the past four days in various parts of the country has caused floods, landslides and inundation. Although the weather has begun to improve, authorities have urged caution, saying the risk of landslides will not subside immediately since the ground remains saturated.
