PM Shah: 21 dead, 5 missing in disasters since Asoj 8, risk not yet over

Prime Minister Balen Shah has urged citizens to remain alert as the risk of disasters continues in various parts of the country. According to him, incidents of heavy rain, floods, landslides, inundation, storms and lightning are occurring in different places across the country.

According to PM Shah, 21 people have died and 5 have gone missing in various disaster incidents since Asoj 8. Disaster incidents have occurred in districts including Myagdi, Dolpa, Dhanusha, Palpa, Baglung and Lamjung.

He said the risk has not yet passed and urged citizens to exercise high alert. Structures ranging from roads to hydropower projects across the country have been affected by the disasters.

Continuous rainfall over the past four days has caused floods, landslides and inundation in various parts of the country. The Prime Minister, while providing information on the disaster situation, asked citizens to take precautions.
