Auspicious time for Dashain tika is 10:26 am on Kartik 4; Ghatasthapana on Asoj 25

The Nepal Panchang Nirnayak Bikas Samiti has announced the auspicious times for this year's Bada Dashain. According to the committee, the best time to apply tika on Vijayadashami is 10:26 am on Wednesday, Kartik 4.

The committee said that on Vijayadashami, the goddess Devi can be immersed at 8:49 am, and tika can be applied from 10:26 am. The committee also said that this year, the face should be turned toward the west when applying tika.

According to the committee, the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana is 11:47 am on Sunday, Asoj 25. The main rites of Bada Dashain across the country will be carried out according to these auspicious times announced by the committee.
