CPN-UML warns of action against leaders who publicly criticise party leadership

CPN-UML has warned that leaders and cadres who publicly criticise the party leadership will face direct action. The party has issued an intra-party directive for this purpose.
The directive states that action will be taken against leaders and cadres who publicly criticise, oppose or insult the party's policies, decisions or leadership. Through this directive, an attempt is being made to strictly enforce discipline within the party.
According to Setopati, the Central Committee meeting will be treated as the 'cutoff' on this issue.
Online Khabar has reported that the party leadership appears to be becoming stricter on discipline following the directive.
