Speaker Aryal at IPU assembly: Let us begin climate parliamentary diplomacy

Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal addressed the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), currently being held in Tanzania.

In his address, Speaker Aryal called on the world's parliaments to make the situation of citizens affected by the climate crisis their voice. He also urged the launch of "climate parliamentary diplomacy."

Speaker Aryal had raised the issues of inclusion, good governance, the digital parliament and climate justice as priorities.

The address also touched on Nepal's parliament and Prime Minister Balen Shah.
