Phnom Penh Crown, featuring Rekha Poudel, wins Cambodian women's league title

Phnom Penh Crown Women's FC, featuring Nepal women's national football team forward Rekha Poudel, has won the Cambodian women's league title.

In the final held at Olympic Stadium on Sunday, Asoj 11, Crown defeated Visakha FC 3-0. In the league phase among eight teams, Crown finished at the top of the table to reach the semifinals.

In the semifinal, Crown beat Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, which included another Nepali player, Preeti Rai, 3-2 on penalties. Poudel scored in her very first match for the club and remained a key player for the team throughout its title-winning journey.

After winning the title, Poudel said she felt proud to represent Crown's women's team. She described the season's hard work, her improvement in the game and the experience gained as a major achievement.
