First President Dr Ram Baran Yadav celebrates Dashain in ancestral village Saphi

First President Dr Ram Baran Yadav celebrated this year's Dashain in his ancestral village. He traveled to Saphi in Dhanusha to mark the festival with family and relatives.

Former President Dr Yadav arrived in Dhanusha on Tuesday for the Dashain festival. He then spent the festival in his ancestral village of Saphi with family members and relatives.

As Vijaya Dashami fell on Wednesday, people across the country have been receiving tika, jamara and blessings from their elders. At this time, former President Yadav too celebrated the festival with his family in his home village outside the capital.

Dr Yadav is Nepal's first President.
