The Karnali Corridor within Humla district has reopened after landslides were cleared. The corridor had been blocked since Asoj 4, first by a dry landslide and then by landslides in several places after three consecutive days of rain.

Removing the dry landslide at Chhare Bhis in Ward 2 of Sarkegad Rural Municipality, along with other landslides and rockfalls caused by the rain, has fully opened the road, said Jayapati Rokaya, the House of Representatives member elected from Humla. The clearance work was carried out under Rokaya's leadership. While travelling to Kathmandu on foot and via Surkhet, Rokaya himself was also stopped by landslides.

With the road open, transport services have resumed on the corridor. However, snow has blocked the road at some points, making travel there impossible.
