Nepal cricket team bids farewell ahead of World Cup League 2 series

The Nepal national men's cricket team, which will take part in the One-Day series under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, was bid farewell in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) President Chaturbahadur Chand, Secretary Paras Khadka and other office-bearers bid the team farewell.
At the ceremony, President Chand said the players are currently in good form, and that he is confident Nepal will perform excellently in the series. He also congratulated the team and extended his best wishes.
In this phase, Nepal will play four One-Day matches, two each against hosts Oman and Canada. According to the schedule, Nepal will face Canada in its first match on Asoj 25, and will play hosts Oman on Asoj 27.
Nepal will play Canada for the second time on Asoj 31. In the final match of the series, on Kartik 2, Nepal will again face Oman.
The series is considered important for Nepal in order to retain its One-Day International status.
