Finance Minister Wagle in US for talks with US finance minister, World Bank president

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle arrived in the United States late Saturday night, leading a two-member delegation.

In Washington, D.C., Wagle was received by Acting Ambassador Sharadraj Aran and embassy officials.

During his stay in the US, Wagle is scheduled to hold meetings with the US finance minister and the World Bank president.

The discussions are expected to cover mobilising further support for rebuilding physical and economic infrastructure damaged by the recent flooding in the Bhotekoshi area, and for resilient development.
