Beni-Mustang road blocked, passenger pressure rises on Pokhara-Jomsom flights

After floods and landslides blocked the road connecting Pokhara to Mustang via Beni in Myagdi, passenger pressure has increased on Pokhara-Jomsom flights.

With road access cut off, passengers traveling to and from Mustang have had to rely on air services. With a limited number of flights, it has become difficult to handle the increased passenger load.

According to Jomsom Airport, the number of passengers on this air route has risen significantly since the road was blocked.

Severe rainfall last Asoj caused floods and landslides on various road sections in Gandaki Province. With the Beni-Mustang road blocked, local residents and tourists traveling to and from Mustang have faced difficulties.
