Lalit Rajbanshi climbs 38 places in ICC T20I bowling rankings

Nepali cricket team's left-arm spinner Lalit Rajbanshi has jumped 38 places to reach 80th position in the ICC's T20 International bowling rankings.

According to the rankings updated by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday, Lalit's rating points now stand at 468. In Nepal's Asian Games cricket match against Afghanistan in Japan, Lalit had taken 3 wickets for just 13 runs in a 4-over spell. That single-match performance was enough to lift his ranking. Nepal played only two matches in that tournament, and got the opportunity to bowl in only one of them.

In the bowling rankings, Nepal's Sandeep Lamichhane also improved by 2 places to reach 47th position. Dipendra Singh Airee also moved up 1 place to 59th. In the T20I all-rounder rankings, however, Airee remains unchanged in 4th place.
