Nepal Rastra Bank calls international tender to mint 400 million one-rupee coins

Nepal Rastra Bank is set to bring in 400 million new one-rupee coins.

The Currency Management Department of Nepal Rastra Bank has invited international bids (tenders) for the design, minting and supply and delivery of 400 million ordinary circulating one-rupee coins.

The department said it has sought bids from pre-qualified security coin minting companies.

The company selected through the tender will be responsible for all the work, from coin design to supply in Nepal.
