Speaker Aryal to leave for Geneva Sunday for IPU assembly, meets President

Speaker Dolprasad (DP) Aryal is set to depart for Geneva on Sunday to attend the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

Ahead of his departure, he paid a courtesy visit to President Ramchandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas on Friday. During the meeting, Speaker Aryal briefed the President on his foreign visit and on Nepal's participation in the assembly.

Parliaments and MPs from various countries will take part in the assembly. Speaker Aryal will represent Nepal on matters related to Nepal's parliamentary practice and inter-parliamentary cooperation there.
