Police begin probe into student's phenyl consumption during Dharan protest

Police have begun an investigation into an incident in which students reportedly consumed phenyl during a protest at the premises of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City. Ilaka Police Office Dharan has started the probe.
The incident occurred during a protest demanding teachers at a school. Student Rojan Shankar is reportedly among those who consumed phenyl during the protest, which took place at the premises of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City.
DSP Bhishanbabu Rai of Ilaka Police Office Dharan said CCTV footage is being collected to examine the incident. Police said they are moving ahead with investigating all aspects of the case.
Police said the actual situation will become clear only after the investigation is complete.
