Former PM Jhalanath Khanal quits Nepali Communist Party, announces 'Samajwadi Jagaran Abhiyan'

Former Prime Minister and senior Nepali Communist Party (NCP) leader Jhalanath Khanal has left the party.
He quit the party, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the current leadership and direction of the NCP.
Following his departure, the 'Samajwadi Jagaran Abhiyan' has been announced under Khanal's leadership.
Khanal, a senior NCP leader, has previously served as the country's prime minister.
