Nepal Premier League's third edition begins Monday in Kirtipur

Kathmandu — The third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is set to officially begin on Monday. The tournament will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
This edition features the participation of well-known players from world cricket, official recognition from the International Cricket Council (ICC), and the use of the Decision Review System (DRS) as new additions.
Along with Nepali players, foreign 'star' players will also be playing for various teams in the tournament.
For Nepali cricket, which has progressed from division cricket to One Day International status and T20 recognition, the NPL is also being viewed as a foundation for commercial transformation.
