UML, Kamal Thapa and Professor Bhusal criticize Finance Minister Waglé's remarks on nationalism in India

Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle's remarks made during his visit to India have drawn criticism. Wagle had said that the era of linking Nepali nationalism with anti-Indianism was over.
The CPN-UML has raised questions over the remarks. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader and former foreign minister Kamal Thapa has also strongly objected to Wagle's comments in the context of Nepal-India relations. Thapa said Wagle's statement amounted to a blatant devaluation of Nepali nationality.
Tribhuvan University economics professor Dr Tara Bhusal has also criticized the views expressed by Finance Minister Wagle during his India visit. She said she did not expect the finance minister to deliver a speech meant to please Delhi.
